Abide in the Holy Spirit
We were honored to hear from Herb Monroe once again this week. He always bring such an anointing of the Holy Spirit. Today was no exception. Not only did he bring it this week, he preached on it and poured it onto each individual person who attended service this week.
The enemy has been building up forces against America, but God is removing the evil. We are going to see more than just words, but move of the Holy Spirit through Christians in America.
The things of evil are falling apart in America, and in individuals... We are going to start seeing the supernatural! God wants us to receive it. We need to move away from the natural and accept what God is trying to give to us.
We must declare: We are willing and taking and receiving the Holy Spirit!
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is there to verify what God is telling you or what others are saying is true. Be obedient to the anointing.
The Holy Spirit lives in you. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit comes in and sanctifies.
Forgiveness is challenging. To others and to ourselves. God doesn't want us to live in a place of the burden of condemnation. The Spirit wants us to live in confidence and trust of God. In this place of trust, the Holy Spirit is able to work in a supernatural way to take this burden.
We are seeing and in a spiritual war. One of the greatest weapons we have against the enemy is worship. It is a release.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. ~ John 10:10
We must declare: We have abundant life!
The Holy Spirit empowers us. We try to fix things ourselves, but we need the Holy Spirit to work and move.
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you;
So light will shine on your ways.
When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!’
Then He will save the humble person.
~ Job 22:28-29
There is great authority given to the believer.
God is with us and He is for us. He is not angry with and disappointed in us. He loves us.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.~ 1 John 3:1
We are standing under a waterfall of God's love. The water keeps coming. It never stops pouring. It is lavish and rich.
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. ~ 1 John 4:18
Fear is a demonic spirit that comes to rob peace from your heart.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. ~ 1 Corinthians 12:4
The gifts of the Spirit did not stop when the last apostle of the Bible died. The Holy Spirit is joined with your spirit. The gifts of the Spirit are for you too.
We have these gifts, and we need to read up on and practice up on our gifts. The Holy Spirit is our teacher. Follow His directions. Don't jump into a situation before you are ready and the Spirit prompts you.
Ask for the Spirit to show and teach you.
Some churches and some people believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Bible.... We must give the Spirit His place.
Herb challenged us: We should have a quiet place where we can allow the Spirit to talk to us and guide us.
The Spirit was with Jesus. “Christ” in “Jesus Christ” is often used as if it's His surname. It is not. It is who He is. He is the Christ.
Jesus didn't have a hospital full of different kinds of experts and different kinds of specialists. God can handle it all.
In John 5, by the healing pool in Bethesda, Jesus a man who had an infirmity for 38 years, Jesus asked him what he wanted. God is asking us... What do we want?
We can experience miracles first hand because of the Holy Spirit.
The enemy gives us religious ideas that hinder or stop the Holy Spirit. Many religions are about man's effort - which condenses God.
“If you love Me, keep My commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.” ~ John 14:15-17
We are not separate from the Holy Spirit.
There are many things God is putting together that we could never do on our own. There is no limit to what God can do.
We can run all of the programs we want, but it takes the Holy Spirit to run them successfully for God.
