A Growing Church in Tanzania

Herb and Ray have safely returned from Tanzania. This was their first opportunity to go back since their trip in 2018.

Mark 16:15
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

God showed His hand in every part of their trip. Because Herb uses a walker, they were given so much assistance in the airports. It made their experience easier and quicker.

Herb had never been in the newer airports, but God had already revealed that place to him, and he felt like he was back in a familiar place.

Ray was not able to take the meds that keep you safe from malaria…. But God kept him safe from malaria all the same.

When you turn the water on… you are left wondering if you are making your hands dirtier as you try to wash them.

This trip was great for Herb. They had to walk everywhere, so Herb's legs got very strong during this trip.

God gave Herb the strength to stand while he preached when they were in Tanzania.

Galatians 6:2
Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

While they were working with the church over there, they also had the opportunity to offer individual counseling.

Herb and Ray were able to pray for people who received instant healing or relief. God was there!

It was encouraging for Herb and Ray to see how much this church has grown since 2018. It has doubled in size.

At this point, this group has also expanded to planting five churches. God is moving.

Psalms 98:4-8

[4] Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy! [5] Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and melodious song, [6] with trumpets and the sound of the ram’s horn. Make a joyful symphony before the Lord, the King! [7] Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let the earth and all living things join in. [8] Let the rivers clap their hands in glee! Let the hills sing out their songs of joy…

Worship in the church was awesome. They have so much rhythm and dancing. At one church, the youth had dances for the different worship songs.
