A Glimpse of His Glory
We were honored to have Carol Reisch bring us the morning message. She gave us her testimony, and about a time when she saw a glimpse of God's Glory when He saved her from a massive tractor trailer accident on an icy mountain.
After God stopped Carol's car and a tractor trailer truck (even though the driver never touched his brake). God used that moment to use Carol to lead that driver to Salvation. He told her he never had anyone to teach him about God.
God was on that mountain, but God is also in the valleys.
We should make sure we are being people who are ready to lead others to the Lord. We need to be lights for Christ. It is easier to be a light for Christ when we fix our eyes upon Jesus.
If you don't hear God speak to you, you're not listening.
Every breath you take, He has control. We need to surrender and let His will be your will.
Our lives matter.... even if you only reach one person - we are called to be soul winners.
We can't do anything on our own. We need to call on God to be our strength. When we lead others to God, He has to be the one leading it.
Each time Carol lead someone to the Lord, she has seen a glimpse of His Glory.
It is OK to be called fanatical for Christ!
In life, in nature, God shows us waves of His Glory. We could not handle the whole thing, so He gives us glimpses. Don't miss out on them.
The safest place on earth is in the will of God. Let Him have absolute control.
Don’t stand ashamed when you stand before the Lord.
Some of the Bible verses we read/referenced this morning include:
Psalm 59:16
Micah 3
1 Corinthians 2:9
John 8:28-29
Psalm 127:11
Standing on the river’s edge this morning, God gave Carol a prophetic word:
God's blessing in Spirit is on the Beacon, and River's Edge will grow.
