There is Power in our Words
We were so excited to have Herb Monroe join us again this week to bring us the morning message. He is a fount of knowledge, and we always look forward to hearing the prophetic word God has given him - to deliver to us.
Herb began his message by reflecting on his journey with God.
Herb grew up on a small wheat farm in Kansas. He recalls how difficult it was getting the Harvest in... Today, God is moving in a time of harvest.
Your parents conceived you, but God gave you a soul.
When Herb first learned about the living, breathing Christ, he had to do three things:
Get rid of religious thinking
Heal, and
Learn and grow in the Spirit.
There is a radar system God has put on the inside of us - the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is very efficient and very detailed.
The Holy Spirit is just as important as the Father and the Son.
What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways. When people are brought low and you say, ‘Lift them up!’ then He will save the downcast. ~ Job 22:28-29
There is power in our words. We can declare and decree in any situation.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. ~ Proverbs 18:21
We have authority, if we'll use it.
You have to ask yourself… What do we expect? What is our expectation? God wants us to expect new and bigger things, and God provides!
Matthew 14:13-21 tells us the story of Jesus feeding 5,000 men (plus women and children). Verse 20 reads: “So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.” Did you catch that? They were FILLED and 12 FULL baskets remained! God provided more than they needed.
We belong to the God that gives us more than enough.
God has not called us to be religious. He has called us into a relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ.
God is teaching things we have never seen before.
Things have changed so much in this world.... Herb encouraged us to get more and more into the Word of God. The Word is so good. The enemy doesn't want us to get into the Word.
The enemy is a thief, and he has stolen from you.
God is bigger than any health problem at any age.
Words are powerful. What are you saying?
We want to fix things. Sometimes God is saying, "Get out of my way." When He fixes things, He fixes them right.
We can have all the plans in the world, but God's plan is greater.
The Holy Spirit is opening new revelation to the body of Christ. We need to prioritize spending time with the Lord in order to receive it.
There is a prophet voice in all of us. We might not all have a prophet office, but we have the voice since we have the Spirit.
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.~ 2 Peter 1:3
