The Gospel = The Good News!
This week, we were joined by Don Chubb III (and his family) who was back in the area from Mexico. Don gave us the morning message. He spoke about the Gospel and the Bible. We cannot enter Heaven with our sin. We all sin. However, Jesus is our Salvation - He took our sin on the cross to die - which puts us in right standing to enter Heaven. We should rest in the finished work of Christ. God loves us so much, He sent His Son to die for our sins. He wants to forgive us of our sins. We should not sin as a sign of our appreciation. God hates sin, but loves people. We are also called to hate sin, but love people.
God’s word offers three categories of teaching:
Doctrine
How we relate to God
How we should relate to others
We should think of ourselves as less important than others. That helps us serve others in love. Humility drives unity in the Body of Christ.

We are excited to have collected more than 40 shoe boxes for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. We prayed over all of the collected boxes at this morning’s Worship Service.
