Harrison Briner gave a history of the book of Lamentations. We will never be able to relate to how Jeremiah was feeling and how much he was mourning because we have JESUS! Here are the scriptures we read this morning:

The history of Lamentations reminds us that there is a cost for sin. For that reason, we must repent. Hallelujah - we serve a God who is faithful and merciful!
